Brian Potter

Rodeo Clown

Newville, Alabama's Brian Potter has been performing before crowds in rodeos for over 25 years. During this time Brian has been riding bareback horses and bulls. In 1997 Brian began his venture as a bull fighter. After fighting bulls in the area for 5 years, Brian was asked by a stock contractor to keep the crowd entertained between the events. Soon realizing he had a knack for having fun playing and joking with the crowds, Brian stopped fighting bulls and became a rodeo clown. The rest of Brian's story became history. Brian joined the professional ranks of rodeo by becoming a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) in 1998. Now Brian travels across the US to 30 states and even up to Canada as a professional rodeo clown for most of the year, entertaining rodeo crowds. Brian has crowd pleasing acts such as Motorcross Mike and he even has the world's smartest horse. Brian's 9 year old daughter Cassidy often travels with Brian and has an act of her own. Brian feels his biggest asset in being a professional rodeo clown is his ability to get the crowd involved. He does so by telling jokes and dancing cheering and just plain having fun.
